OLESYA STADNIK
Olesya fell in love with horses for the first time at nine years old when her parents brought her to watch a USSR dressage Olympic team rider. She started riding in 1986 at 10 years old in Kyiv, Ukraine and was formally trained in dressage, show jumping and vaulting. Jumping was her true passion. In 2004 she moved to Michigan, where she started as a volunteer for a therapeutic riding program and was introduced to the hunter/jumper world. With time Olesya pursued her dream of becoming an instructor. Getting a master’s degree in biology from a Ukrainian University it has given her a better understanding of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics of horses and riders. Unfortunately, due to the health reasons she had to stop jumping and for the last 9 years she has been working as barn manager and assistant trainer to a dressage silver and gold medalist. Olesya also helps with horse’s rehabilitation at a local rescue place for horses and donkeys. Her goal is to give a chance to every horse and share her knowledge with every rider with a fun and safe manner. $55 for a 45-1 hour private lesson. No semi private lessons available. Training rides are the same as lesson prices.
